Description
The GIGAOPTO's GTS-D1712-80DC series optical transceivers are Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing small form-factor pluggable (SFP) modules for 1000BASE-ZX long reach Gigabit Ethernet per IEEE802.3z and 1G Fiber Channel application. This module is specially designed for C Band DWDM networks. It supports a dual data rate of 1.25Gbps/1.06Gbps and 80km transmission distance with 9/125µm single-mode fiber operating at a nominal DWDM wavelength from 1528.77nm to 1565.50nm.
The DWDM SFP transceiver is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. The transmitter section uses a DWDM multiple quantum well EML laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses a high-speed PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA).
The fully SFP compliant form factor provides hot pluggability, easy optical port upgrades and low EMI emission.
